Origin/meaning

Quarterly Småland and the City of Jönköping. This Regiment was formed in 1928 by ammalgamting the Jönköping Regiment (the City Arms) and the Kalmar Regiment (the Småland Lion). Originaly named the Jönköping-Kalmar Regiment it recieved the last name in 1948. The Regiment was disbanded in 2000.
