13TH-18TH ROYAL HUSSARS (QUEEN MARY'S OWN), BRITISH ARMY

History: Formed in 1922 by the amalgamation of the 13th Hussars, British Army and the 18th Royal Hussars (Queen Mary's Own), British Army as the 13th/18th Hussars.
Name changed in 1935 to 13th/18th Royal Hussars (Queen Mary's Own).

Official blazon

The monogram "QMO", superimposed upon which is a scroll in the shape of the lett "Z". The top of the scroll rests upon the top of the monogram and is inscribed with the roman numeral "XIII"; the lower arms of the scroll supports the bottom of the monogram and is inscribed with the Roman numeral "XVIII"; the diagonal of the scroll joins the right rnd of the top arm with the left end of the bottom arms and is inscribed "Royal Hussars". The whole ensigned with a crown. In gilt.
