17TH TEST SQUADRON, US SPACE FORCE

History: Designated as 1017 Test and Evaluation Squadron, and activated, on 6 Apr 1990. Inactivated on 15 Oct 1992. Redesignated as 17 Test Squadron on 30 Jun 1995. Activated on 21 Jul 1995. Changed status from a unit of United States Air Force armed force to a unit of United States Space Force armed force on 21 Oct 2020. Redesignated as 17 Test and Evaluation Squadron on 23 Aug 2021.
