1ST SPECIAL OPERATIONS LOGISTICS READINESS SQUADRON, US AIR FORCE

History: Constituted as 16 Depot Supply Squadron on 5 January 1942. Activated on 28 January 1942. Inactivated on 23 October 1945. Disbanded on 15 June 1983. Reconstituted, and redesignated as 16 Supply Squadron, on 31 July 1985. Consolidated (1 October 1993) with 1 Special Operations Supply Squadron which was constituted on 23 February 1993. Activated on 24 March 1993. Redesignated as: 16 Supply Squadron on 1 October 1993; 16 Logistics Readiness Squadron on 1 January 2003; 1 Special Operations Logistics Readiness Squadron on 16 November 2006.
