Distinctive Unit Insignia, Description: A gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Per fess wavy Azure (Medium Blue) and Gules (Brick Red) a barrulet wavy between a wheel of eight spokes and three demi-arrows with pheon heads radiating form base Or. Attached around the sides and bottom is a Black scroll inscribed "MOVING THE TEATHERS BEST" in Gold.

Origin/meaning

Brick Red and Golden Yellow are the colours of the Transportation Corps. The Blue upper part of the shield symbolises the Sky and Air Transport. The Wavy Barrulet symbolises Sea Transport and the Red field Land Transport. The Wheel indicates mobility and the Arrows symbolises combat readiness and the three missions of the Battlion - administration, supervision and transportation of Army materiel.

The Coat of Arms and Distinctive Unit Insignia was approved on 19 March 1999.
