The Distinctive Unit Insignia was originally approved for the 324th Replacement Battalion on 11 June 1971, it was redesignated for the 324th Personnel and Administration on 20 April 1972. The Insignia was redesignated for the 324th Replacement Battalion, with description and symbolism revised on 27 April 1992.
