The Buckler represent the armour protection. The Arm is raised in the attitude of striking. The Tower emitting Water, symbolises the bitter fighting<br>
at the Roer River Dams. For this the Unit was awarded the Presidental Unit Citation. The three Spears symbolises advance through Normandy, northern France and Germany.<br>
The Escutcheon alludes to the Arms of Luxembourg, and stands for the Luxembourg Croix de Guerre, awarded for Liberating the Country.
