Shield: Or, on a pale Guels a doubl-warded key of the field wards up, on a chief wavy Azure a bezant charged with a flame of the second between two diminished of the like.
Crest: From a wreath Or and Gules between two plam fronds Vert in base four demi-spears conjoined crosswise Proper entwined by a demi-orinetla dragon of the second armed Argent, eye of the like, whiskers and pupil of the eye of the third.
Motto: Means to sustain.

Distinctive Unit Insignia. Description: A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Or, on aplae Guels a double-wardes key of the field, on a chief Azure three bezants each bearing a flame of the second. Attached below the shield is a Gold scroll inscribed "MEANS TO SUSTAIN" in black letters.

Origin/meaning

The Roundels with flames symbolises the Battalion's World War II service in the Ryukyus Archipelago. The Wavy line symbolises the Sea. The Pale symbolises a Column indicating Support. The Double-warded key symbolises both indirect and direct suppport. The Oriental Dragon in the Crest symbolises World War II service in the Pacific Theater, especially the Ryuykus Archipelago. The Spears pointing in the major compass points, symbolises that the capture of the Ryuykus gave the allied a bas 700 miles out from Japan in any direction. The Palm Wreath symbolises Victory and High Achivement.

The Coat of arms and Distinctive Unit Insiginia was both originally approved for the 35th Quartermaster Battalion on 21 April 1964. They where redesignated for the 35th Supply and Service Battalion on 6 October 1966. The arms were rescinded on 16 September 1987, and reinstated for the 35th Supply and Service Battalion on ?. The Distinctive Unit Insignia was redesignated for the 35th Support Battalion on 16 October 2006.
