History: Constituted as 370 Bombardment Squadron (Heavy) on 28 Jan 1942. Activated on 15 Apr 1942. Redesignated as 370 Bombardment Squadron, Heavy, c. Mar 1944. Inactivated on 18 Jan 1946. Redesignated as 370 Bombardment Squadron, Very Heavy on 15 Jul 1946. Activated on 4 Aug 1946. Redesignated as 370 Bombardment Squadron, Medium on 28 May 1948. Discontinued, and inactivated, on 25 Mar 1965. Redesignated as 370 Flight Test Squadron on 24 Sep 2001. Activated in the Reserve on 1 Oct 2001.
