Green and white is the colours of the Armoured Troops. The Wyvern symbolizes the deadliness of the Tank. The Three Spears stands for the World War II battle Streamers for "Ardennes", "Normandy" and "Moselle River". The Ermine Spots alludes to the taking of the City of Nantes in Brittany, whose Arms includes Ermines. The Enflamed ring alludes to the besieged Bastonge under enemy fire, during the Battle of the Bulge in 1944. This was breaked on 26 December 1944 by the 4th Armoured Division to which the Regiment belonged. The Trition shells was used by the inhabitants of the Pacific Islands as a signaling device, and symbolizes service in the Pacific Theater during World War II by elements of the Regiment. Approved 1 February 1983.
