Shield: Celeste, a lozenge Argent voided Tenné charged with a millet of the second, all between two lightning flashes in chief chevronwise Or and in base, two laurel branches chevronwise reversed of the second.
Crest: That for the regiments and separate battalions of the Nevada Army National Guard: On a wreath of the colors, Argent and Celeste, within a garland of sagebrush a sledge and miner’s drill crossed in saltire behind a pickax on pale Proper.
Motto: BATTLE BORN.
Distinctive Unit Insignia. Description: A silver color metal and enamel device 1 3/16 inches (3.02cm) in height overall consisting of a silver square set on end, its center voided orange and charged with a silver star, the squared bordered by two yellow lightning flashes at top and two silver laurel branches in base, all resting upon a light blue scroll, its ends encircling the laurel branches and inscribed "BATTLE BORN" in silver letters.
Origin/meaning
Shield: Orange and white (silver) are the colors associated with the Signal Corps. The square on square is in reference to the Signal Corps flag and the battalion’s mission. The lightning flashes symbolize speed and communications. The silver star and laurel branches are adapted from the shoulder sleeve insignia of the Nevada Army National Guard, referring to the unit’s location and denoting excellence and achievement. The light blue of the motto scroll alludes the "Virginia Blues," the first organized state militia in Nevada.

The arms were approved on 9 August 2001. The Distinctive Unit Insignia was approved on 7 December 1981.
