History: Constituted as 452 Maintenance Squadron, Bombardment, Light on 10 May 1949. Activated in the Reserve on 27 Jun 1949. Redesignated as 452 Maintenance Squadron on 2 Mar 1950. Ordered to Active Service on 10 Aug 1950. Relieved from Active Duty, and inactivated, on 10 May 1952. Activated in the Reserve on 13 Jun 1952. Redesignated as 452 Field Maintenance Squadron on 8 Nov 1954. Inactivated on 14 Apr 1959. Consolidated (22 Oct 1984) with the 452 Consolidated Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, which was constituted on 5 Dec 1958. Activated in the Reserve on 14 Apr 1959. Discontinued, and inactivated, on 17 Jan 1963. Activated in the Reserve on 1 Oct 1976. Redesignated as 452 Maintenance Squadron on 1 Feb 1992.
