Origin/meaning

The Cross symbolise the mission of the Hospital. The Fleurs-de-lis signyfy campaign honours for service in France and Central Europe. The Crossed Swords symbolises the mission to provide care for all patients in the combat zone. The Motto translates as Bring Us your Wounded.

The Design was approved on Decemebr 10, 1968.
