In azzur een gevleugelde en gepantserde rechtervuist van zilver, welke drie bliksemschichten van goud afweert; de vuist geplaast op een golvende zee van zilver en azurr van vier stukken. Als embleemspreuk ARCENS AFFLIGO (afwerend tref ik) in Latijnse letters van sabel op een lint van goud.

Origin/meaning

The badge symbolises the role of repelling enemy air attacks when a Fighter Squadron, now it is a Helicopter Squadron. The Squadron was formed with Dutch Personnel in Britain's Fleet Air Arm in 1943 and was transfered to the Netherlands in 1946.
