Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted in 1900.

The village of Adelhausen was an Austrian possession until the early 19th century. The historical seals thus used the Austrian Imperial eagle with on a small breastshield the letter A. These seals were still used during the 19th century. In 1900 the State Archives advised to replace the Austrian eagle with a more neutral eagle.
