O castelo é acompanhado por duas cruzes de Santiago de vermelho. Em contra-chefe, seis faixas ondeadas de prata e de azul, nas quais está vogando uma caravela de ouro realçada de negro e aparelhada de ouro. Coroa mural de prata de cinco torres. Listel branco com os dizeres : " ALCÁCER DO SAL ", de negro.
