Escudo de verde, Agnus Dei jazente de prata, nimbado de ouro, sustendo com a pata uma vara crucífera de ouro, com lábaro de prata carregado de uma cruz firmada de vermelho, em chefe, um ramo de oliveira de prata, frutado de negro, entre dois cachos de uvas de ouro, folhados de prata, em ponta, duas espigas de trigo de ouro, com os pés passados em aspa. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro: “ ALVAREDOS - VINHAIS “.
