Inquartato: nel primo e nel quarto, d’oro, al traino di carro con le sue quattro ruote, posto in palo, il timone in alto, il tutto di rosso; nel secondo e nel terzo, di argento, alle due anguille di nero, ondeggianti in palo, una accanto all’altra. Ornamenti esteriori da Comune.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on August 8, 1994.
The first and fourth quarters are derived from the arms of the Da Carrara family, who ruled the village for a long time. The eels are canting, Anguilla meaning eel in Latin.
