Official blazon

Escudo de vermelho, com uma banda ondada de três peças, duas de prata e uma de azul, acompanhada por um cacho de uvas de ouro folhado e sustido do mesmo, canto do chefe e por um molho de três espigas de milho, também de ouro folhadas do mesmo e atadas de verde no canto do contra-chefe. Brocante, ao centro, um escudete das quinas de Portugal antigo. Coroa mural de prata de quatro torres. Listel branco com a legenda de negro : " VILA DE ARCOS DE VALDEVEZ ".
