Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on April 11, 1969.

The arms show in the upper part the crossed keys of St. Peter, the parish saint. The lower part shows the arms of the family Khuen. The Khuen family first got possessions in Auer in 1397 and were one of the most important families until 1690. The family was later raised to Imperial Counts.
