Aulendor.jpg

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The village was owned by the counts of Königsegg between 1381 and 1629, but was influential until 1848. The arms show in the upper part the arms of this family.

The lower part of the arms shows a train wheel. The wheel symbolises the fact that Aulendorf is an important railway junction in this part of the country.
