Origin/meaningThe arms were granted on December 6, 1962. The arms show parts of the arms of the former territories that form the district. The cross is the cross of the diocese and State of Fulda. The bishops of Fulda had many possessions in the district. The points in the first quarter are the arms of the State of Würzburg, the bishops of Würzburg also had several estates in the area. The fourth quarter shows the arms of the Lords of Thüngen, who held their estate near the town of Zeitlofs. Contact and SupportPartners: Your logo here ?
