===Origin/meaning===
The arms were granted in 1937 and are canting. The roe (Reh) and castle (Burg) are canting symbols and are taken from the arms of the city of [[Rehburg]]. The waves in the base of the arms symbolise the spa in the town. Bad Rehburg was founded in 1690 as a small spa near the city of Rehburg. After 1800 the spa started to grow rapidly due to the discovery of a sulphur spring.
