Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on ?
The bars are taken from the arms of the Counts of Beichlingen, who ruled the village until 1567. The red lion in gold is taken from the arms of the Lords of Werthem, the successors of the Counts of Beichlingen as rulers over the village. The windmill is a typical landmark of the village of Altbeichlingen.
