Origin/meaning :
The arms were devised in 1948 for the Hjermind-Lee-Hjortede municipality and continued in 1955 by the new Bjerringbro municipality.

The arms show the Bjerring Bro (bridge) and are thus canting. The scythes and the wheel symbolise the agriculture and industry in the municipality.
