Eenen zilveren schild met een rood kruys waerop in het midden eenen gulden rand, den schild gedekt met eene kroon ook van goud.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on October 23, 1841.

The meaning of these arms is not known, but they appear on the seal of the council from 1694.
