Blason de Bondy / Arms of Bondy
Official blazon
French
English No blazon/translation known. Please click here to send your (heraldic !) blazon or translation

Origin/meaning

The forest in the base of the arms refers to the Bondy forest, which covered a large area until the 18th century. It was supposed to be the territory of bandits and thus people avoided the forest. I have no information on the background of the upper part of the arms. Any information is welcome.
