Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, scartelat. În partea superioară, în dreapta, în câmp albastru, se află o pasăre în zbor de argint. În partea superioară, în stânga, în câmp roşu, se află un călăreţ pe un cal aflat în salt, totul de aur. În vârful scutului, în dreapta, în câmp roşu, se află un mănunchi format din 5 spice de grâu de aur. În vârful scutului, în stânga, în câmp albastru, se află un brâu undat de argint, având deasupra un peşte de argint. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 30, 3013.

The wings refer to the local military airport. The horseman represents the Danubian horseman, a Getic demigod dating from the 4th century BC and discovered as a result of archeological excavations.

The bundle with ears of wheat symbolizes one of the basic occupations of the inhabitants, agriculture, and their number indicates the number of component villages of the commune.

The wavy bar represents the Borcea river, and the fish symbolizes the fish richness of the area.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
