Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on June 25, 2021.
The dragonfly refers to the scarlet dragonflies and all the fauna that haunt the ponds, marshes, streams and the Rupt de Madt river in the municipality.
The shamrock refers to Saint Maurice (whose attribute is a trefoil cross) to whom the church of Bonconville is dedicated.
The chief refers to the defensive elements of the old castle which belonged in the 14th century to the Counts of Bar. The blue colour and the crosiers are also taken from their arms (see previous arms below).
The twigs surrounding the shield are those of willows that line the shores of these bodies of water. They also represent the trees of the local forest.
The previous arms used by the municipality were those of the County of Bar, to which the village historically belonged.
