Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, despicat în partea superioară și tăiat la mijloc de două fascii ondulate - argint, albastru. În partea superioară, în câmp verde, se află un corn al abundenței, cu fructe, de aur. În partea superioară, în câmp albastru, se află un sfert de soare cu cinci raze, de aur. În partea inferioară, în câmp zidit de argint, se află o roată dințată neagră, ieșind din vârful scutului. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu trei turnuri crenelate.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on June 24, 2009.

The horn of plenty and the green field together with the sun are symbols of prosperity and wealth and refer to the fact that the town is in the Romanian Plain.

The wall and the gear wheel signify the industrial and urban activity of the locality.

The mural crown with three crenellated towers means that the town has the status of a city.
