Pe fond de azur se află o clopotniță naturală, flancată în ambele părți de ziduri de cetate, naturale, așezate pe o terasă verde. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint, cu un turn crenelat.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on October 14, 2004.

The belfry with city walls refers to the Brebu Monastery, built by Matei Basarab, a Wallachian Voivode (Prince) between 1632 and 1654.
