Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted in 2022.

The tree is a reference to Breux, which is derived from Bois, forest, bush. The wavy bar represents the Avre river.

The spade is a symbol for the local patron saint, St. Fiacre. The leopards are taken from the arms of Normandie.
