The arms were adopted on October 23, 2001.

The arms show a leaf and a railway track. The leaf refers to the fact that the village is a resort in the forests, the railway track indicates that the village originated as a railway station.

The previous arms were adopted on April 10, 1990.

The arms show a lily of the valley, symbolising beauty and the forests surrounding the town. The first quarter shows a chestnut. The chief shows the name of the town.`
