BUHL

Département : Haut-Rhin

Blason de Buhl (Haut-Rhin)/Arms (crest) of Buhl (Haut-Rhin)
Official blazon
French De gueules au triangle vidé d'argent, les pointes touchant le chef et les flancs de l'écu.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were designed and adopted in 1978.

The triangle is a common symbol for Bergholtz, Bergholtz-Zell and Buhl. The triangle was already used in the 18th century as a village sign for the three villages.

The municipality has the right to use the War Cross 1914-1918 around or besides the arms.
