Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, scartelat. În partea superioară, în dreapta, în câmp roșu, se află două ramuri de stejar, de aur, care se întretaie în partea de jos. În partea superioară, în stânga, în câmp albastru, se află un zid compus din 3 rânduri de cărămizi, de argint, rostuite cu negru, iar deasupra zidului se află o roată crenelată, de argint. În vârful scutului, în dreapta, în câmp albastru, este o cruce treflată, de aur. În vârful scutului, în stânga, în câmp roșu, se află un munte de argint. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu 3 turnuri crenelate.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on November 25, 2009.
The mountain and the oak branches represent the mountainous area and the forest richness of this area, and the wheel signifies the industrial activity.
The wall reminds of the Roman camps Vârtop, Bumbești, Porceni, and the trefoil cross symbolizes the monasteries Lainici, Vişina, Locurele Hermitage.
The mural crown with 3 crenellated towers means that the town has the status of a city.
