Origin/meaning

These are the coats of arms of Baron Laurent Martin Duval de Fraville (1791-1871) and his wife Gertrude Graillet de Beine, with different colours for her coat of arms (the lion and the trimming of the sword are gold instead of silver). Laurent Martin Duval de Fraville was titled hereditary Baron by letters patent of March 13, 1820, with regulation of coats of arms.

These double coat of arms were found in 1989 in the sacristy of the commune and were identified by the mayor in 1999. They have been used by the municipality since.
