Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, scartelat. În partea superioară, în dreapta, în câmp roșu, se află o coroană de aur cu trei fleuroane. În partea superioară, în stânga, în câmp albastru, se află un cap de bour de argint, flancat de o semilună și o stea în șase colțuri, ambele de aur. În partea inferioară, în dreapta, în câmp albastru, se află un brâu undat de argint. În partea inferioară, în stânga, în câmp roșu, se află un buștean de aur, în bară. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on October 7, 2014.
The crown refers to the fact that the town was given the title of Royal city in 1329 by King Carol Robert.
The ox head with crescent and star is a symbol taken from the old coat of arms of the town in 1329.
The wavy bar symbolizes the river Tisza.
The log represents the forest wealth of the area and the occupation of the inhabitants - wood processing.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
