Official blazon

Arms : Sanguine, three regular hexagons Or; on a chief dovetailed gold five annulets interlaced fessewise sable.
Crest: On a wreath of the colours, A cock sable, combed, wattled and membered gules, supporting with the dexter claw a rod of Aesculapius gold, the serpent proper.
Supporters: On the dexter side a wyvern Or charged on the shoulder with a sword erect gules, and on the sinister side a lion gold charged on the shoulder with a representation of the Basle staff sable.
Motto: Consocient gentes
