Badge: Per pale Sable and Argent two compass roses counterchanged flanking the figure of Artemis drawing a bow loaded with two arrows, the upper arrowhead enflamed proper, and standing on a mount Or.
Motto: VENATOR COLLECTOR.

Origin/meaning

Artemis, the Greek goddess of the hunt, represents the Group’s tasks of searching and gathering information. She is shown in a shooting position to indicate that the members of the Group focus on a common target. The compass rose is a symbol traditionally associated with intelligence units. The black and white background indicates that the group operates night and day. The mount evokes the worldwide scope of operations of the Group. Motto: This Latin phrase means “Hunter-gatherer”.

The badge was approved on November 20, 2014.
