Blason de Canny-sur-Matz/Arms (crest) of Canny-sur-Matz
Official blazon

English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The wavy bend symbolises the Matz river. The reeds are a canting element (roseau in Frence, but canna in Latin and many local French dialects uses a word similar to canna). The free quarter shows St. Michael, the local patron saint.
