Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on January 12, 2009.
The small hill refers to the hills near Blumberg in the municipality, which are remnants of moraines from the latest Ice Age. The chestnut tree is a common three in the villages in the municipality and also refers to the local forests. The seven leaves refer to the seven villages in the municipality.
The small shield shows the arms of the Duchy of Pommern to which the area historically belonged.
The green and gold refer to agriculture (gold is the colour of ripe wheat).
