Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat. În câmp superior, pe fond albastru, se află un pod de aur, cu două deschideri și parapetul crenelat. În câmp inferior, pe fond roșu, se află două ramuri porumbar de aur. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on November 24, 2004.

The golden bridge signifies the bridge between Covasna and Brașov counties.

The blackthorn branches represents the plant from which the name of the commune derives, and the two branches signify the two villages belonging to the commune, namely Chichiș and Băcel.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
