Un scut triunghiular albastru cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat de un brâu undat de argint. În partea superioară se află un cocoș de munte, așezat pe o creangă verde. În partea inferioară, din vârful scutului ies 3 stânci de argint, cea din mijloc fiind mai înaltă. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on December 4, 2013.
The wavy bar represents the Bâsca Chiojdului river, which crosses the locality.
The capercaillie represents the specific fauna of the area.
The rocks symbolize the Siriu Mountains, at the foot of which the town is located.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
