Escudo de verde, um pelourinho de prata acompanhado à dextra por uma estrela de cinco pontas contida num crescente com as pontas viradas para cima e, à sinistra, por duas chaves passadas em aspa, com os palhetões para cima, tudo de ouro; ponta diminuta de burelas ondadas de prata e azul e assente nela uma ponte de três arcos de prata, movente dos flancos. Coroa mural de prata de quatro torres. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro: «COJA».
