Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, scartelat. În partea superioară, în dreapta, în câmp de argint, se află douăsprezece ghinde cu câte două frunze verzi de stejar, grupate în trei coloane. În partea superioară, în stânga, în câmp albastru, se află un lup rampant de argint, privind spre dreapta. În partea inferioară, în dreapta, în câmp albastru, se află o cruce treflată de argint. În partea inferioară, în stânga, se află un zid crenelat de cetate de argint. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on October 7, 2014.
Acorns represent the forest richness of the area, having an oak about 500 years old declared a monument of nature, and the number of acorns indicates the number of component villages of the commune.
The wolf symbolizes the soldiers of Chioar who defend the fortress of the same name. The wall refers to the Chioar Fortress itself.
The cross refers to the old monastery from which the name of the locality comes.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
