Portuguese Escudo de ouro, com um castelo de vermelho, aberto e iluminado de prata, acompanhado por dois ramos de oliveira de verde frutada de ouro. O castelo assenta num monte de penhascos de verde, realçado de negro e cortados por três faixas ondadas, duas de prata e uma de azul. A torre central carregada com uma cruz de Malta de prata. Coroa mural de quatro torres. Listel branco com os dizeres de negro : " VILA DO CRATO ".
