Döderhult kommunvapen

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on May 11, 1951.

The fish is taken from the seal of the former Stranda hundred, to which the area historically belonged. The division line using salmon tails refers to the salmon fishing and the coastline. The spade refers to the agricultural character of the municipality.
