DÜMMER

State : Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
District (Kreis) : Ludwigslust-Parchim
Amt: Amt Stralendorf
Additions: 1950 Dümmerhütte, Dümmerstück Hof; 1973 Walsmühlen; 1999 Parum

Wappen von Dümmer/Coat of arms (crest) of Dümmer
Official blazon
German blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted in September 2021.

The three parts of the arms symbolise the villages of Dümmer, Parum and Walsmühlen. The mill wheel refers to Walsmühlen (Mühle=mill), the bell refers to the church in Parum and the lower half shows the Europahaus from Dümmer.

The colours are those of the County Schwerin to which the area historically belonged.
