Arms (crest) of Dąbrówno

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms show a fleur-de-lis, and is used as a canting element (the name of the city was translated in Latin as Liliopolis). The oldest known seal of the city dates from the 15th century and shows a divided shield. The upper half shows the fleur-de-lis, the lower a bull's head of unknown origin. Since the 17th century only the fleur-de-lis appears on the seals and images.
