Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on November 24, 2004.

The silver wall reminds of the historical vestiges discovered on the territory of the commune and which attest to the existence of the settlement since the Roman Empire.

The golden lyre symbolizes the rich cultural activity in the locality, carried out by the choir of the cultural center and the orthodox church.

Wheat ears show that the occupation of the inhabitants is agriculture. Acorns express the forest richness of the area and the tourist potential.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
